The Bad Face of Skinny Jeans:

I felt comfortable using skinny jeans. It is giving me the illusion and the feeling of being tall, sexy, and confident. I feel manly and very fashionable with that leg-hugging denim. A nowadays skinny jean is the name of men’s fashion. Gone are the days of bulgy square pants or too loose strait cuts. We may have different point of views on many occasions about people wearing those second skin jeans but it’s a new trend a new stride and definitely the pinnacle in pants fashion.

Another reason why I adore the skinny jeans for men is because it elongates your elongates your legs and it gives a different array of boldness.

However in an article published by British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reports that skinny jeans are responsible for the occurrence of health problems around the groin, it is linked to inflictions including low sperm counts, twisted testicles, bladder weakness, urinary tract infections and fungal irritations.

"I have seen several cases of men who have twisted their testicles due to wearing jeans that are far too tight," British GP Hilary Jones told the newspaper.

Jones further added that wearing tight-fitting clothing over a prolonged period of time can lead to urinary tract infections leading to over activity of the bladder.

A study of 2000 British men revealed that one in 10 experienced an unpleasant side effect of wearing skinny jeans.

Half the men in the study reported groin discomfort, while more than a quarter had bladder troubles.

One in five suffered a twisted testicle, a condition that occurs when tight trousers prevent the spermatic cord from moving freely, meaning it twists and possibly cuts off blood. This requires immediate surgery.

Wearing tight pants has also been linked to lower sperm counts as a result of the scrotum becoming overheated and harming the delicate sperm production process.

In my point of view wearing skinny jeans shouldn’t be bad at all. One thing to consider in wearing skinny jeans, “don’t eat, sleep, breath and live with skinny jeans”. Give your balls sometime to breathe and relax. Wear very loose undergarments when you sleep or sometimes don’t wear any undergarments when you sleep (LOL) and lastly don’t wear skinny jeans on a daily basis make it every other day.

Kusudama Meets Yamaguchi Dahlia.

After creating both kusudama and yamaguchi dahlia, I am wondering where could I put it. Last weekend when I wasn’t doing anything I stumble upon a decoration of my old aquarium. I decided to go ahead and place my kusudama and yamaguchi dahlia creation and place them on top of my TV.

Here’s how it looks like:

Yamaguchi Dahlia

Again using Origami paper is the best one to create your own Yamaguchi Dahlia. However, as I am a fan of recycling I decided to create my own Yamaguchi Dahlia using an OLD Brochure.  In this way, I could have my room clutter free as I have turned them into a paper folded flower.

Growing up, I am actually fascinated with paper cutting and creating paper boats and birds. Never did I learn how to fold such beautiful flowers.

I wanted to show you how to make a Yamaguchi Dahlia but I can’t seem to capture a good picture so I search for a good website that could actually show you how to do it:  http://www.origami-instructions.com/easy-origami-yamaguchi-dahlia.html

Here’s what I have come up with:

My Sister's Second look

We also tried to see what's in her closet that we could use or should I say we recommend her that she could still use here in Metro Manila.

We also bought her a new bag. This is actually her first choice when we were canvasing for her new bag. We bought the bag at Cash and Carry in Buendia.

Also, your bag is actually an accessories. Don't use a bag that is not complementing the look you want for the entire attire.

My shopping Challenge

I was able to receive a gift check earlier this month so I thought of buying something that would remind me of the value of the gift check and the reason why I have it.

So I went to SM MALL of Asia to find out if they have something on sale. My challenge is to buy an office attire from head to foot.

And here's the shoes:

I wasnt able to take photos of the 3 pants.

Kusudama Flowers

June hits the rainy season month in the Philippines. It usually rains in the mid afternoon so while I was sipping a cup of coffee in my friend’s house, I suddenly remembered my friends project for her wedding a paper flower. She uses origami papers. Using origami paper for Kusudama Flower is the most appropriate type of paper for such a magnificent flower.

As I don’t have time to go to the department store to buy such type of paper I decided to use the old brochures as I am just killing time and enjoying the rainfall splattering at the rooftop. Also, I’ve decided to use magazine or old brochures so I could help recycle waste.

I wanted to share a bit of information about this Ancient form of art to those who doesn’t know or maybe like me wondering about Kusudama.

Kusudama tiny bit of History:
(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

The Japanese kusudama (薬玉; lit. medicine ball) is a paper model that is usually (although not always) created by sewing multiple identical pyramidal units (usually stylized flowers folded from square paper) together through their points to form a spherical shape. Alternately the individual components may be glued together. (e.g. the kusudama in the lower photo is entirely glued, not threaded together) Occasionally, a tassel is attached to the bottom for decoration.

Kusudama originate from ancient Japanese culture, where they were used for incense and potpourri; possibly originally being actual bunches of flowers or herbs. The word itself is a combination of two Japanese words kusuri, Medicine, and tama, Ball. They are now typically used as decorations, or as gifts.
The kusudama is important in origami particularly as a precursor to the modular origami genre. It is often confused with modular origami, but is not such because the units are strung or pasted together, instead of folded together as most modular construction are made.

It is, however, still considered origami, although origami purists frown upon using its characteristic technique of threading or gluing the units together, while others recognize that early traditional Japanese origami often used both cutting (see thousand origami cranes or senbazuru) and pasting, and respect kusudama as an ingenious traditional paper folding craft in the origami family.

Modern origami masters such as Tomoko Fuse have created new kusudama designs that are entirely assembled without cutting, glue or thread except as a hanger.

Here are some of my Kusudama paper flower.

Here’s a website you could visit for you to learn how to make a Kusudama Flower: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Kusudama-Flower
